How This Works


Welcome to the ePolicyWorks National Online Dialogues. Stakeholders and the public are invited to submit ideas, as well as comment and vote on ideas submitted by others. Please follow the step-by-step directions below to participate in the this ePolicyWorks National Online Dialogue.




Navigating the Dialogue


Please use the drop-down menu in the upper left-hand corner of the screen to navigate the dialogue. From the drop-down menu you can View All Ideas in the dialogue along with the associated comments and votes. In addition, from the drop-down menu, you can return to the Dialogue Home Page, view your Participation Summary as well as access the five Long COVID Dialogue Topics. Registering and Logging In


To participate in the Understanding and Addressing the Workplace Challenges Related to Long COVID National Online Dialogue, you must first Register to create an account. If you have participated in a previous ePolicyWorks dialogue, please Log In using the same email and password. The links to Register and Log In are located at the top right-hand corner of each dialogue page. An image of the Log In and Register links are shown below:

Accessing the Dialogue Topics


Once log in, you can submit an idea, or comment and vote on ideas submitted by others. The five Dialogue Topics can be accessed from both the drop-down menu at the top left-hand corner of each page or by clicking on one of the five dialogue topic boxes in the middle of the Dialogue Home Page. Posting Ideas (1)


You can post your ideas to the dialogue by using the Submit Your Idea button on the Dialogue Home Page or by clicking Click Here to Submit Your Idea on the individual topic pages. An image of a topic page is shown below:

Posting Ideas (2)


To submit an idea, you must complete an Idea Submission Form. After clicking the Submit Your Idea button on the Dialogue Home Page or the Click Here to Submit Your Idea link on the individual topic pages, the Idea Submission Form will appear on your screen. Submit your idea by following these steps to fill out the Idea Submission Form:


  1. Topic: From the drop-down menu, choose the topic that most closely relates to your idea.
  2. Idea Title: Type in a title that describes your idea in the "Idea Title" field.
  3. Idea Details: Type in the details you would like to include about your idea in the "Idea Details" field.
  4. Attach an image or supporting document, if applicable.
  5. Click the dark blue "Submit" button to post your idea to the dialogue. Please note that the "Topic", "Idea Title" and "Idea Details" form fields are mandatory, so you must complete all three items in order for your idea to post to the dialogue.

Commenting and Voting on Ideas


To open and read an idea, simply click on the idea title. Each idea is individually listed in its own box on the Dialogue Topic Pages and on the View all Ideas page.


To vote on an idea, simply click the up arrow or the down arrow. The arrows are located to the left of the idea tile in the individual idea box as highlighted in the image below. To submit a comment, type in the text box below the idea and click submit. An image highlighting these features is shown below:

Using Assistive Technology


If you are using assistive technology, such as a screen reader or voice recognition software, please note that all of the features described above contain links that can be accessed through link lists or by tabbing through the page.
